I bought this to remove some sticky stuff left behind after I removed duct tape from a metal surface. A few weeks later, I managed to get chewing gum on the floor mats of my new car.

This product easily removed the tape residue and the chewing gum from my shoes and the floor mats. It leaves behind a slight citrus (i.e. Oranges) smell, which evaporates quickly.

“Goo Gone”(8 oz.) is a fabulous find. I found it while shopping around at Office Depot. I always buy plenty of books for gifts at Christmas time, and thought this might help to get some of those price tags off, without damaging the paperback books or dust jackets on the hard covers. It worked GREAT! Just a tiny bit on a cloth, removed all the labels easily with no sticky residue left behind, and no worn spots on the books!

It looks like oil for furniture, but is much lighter and does not leave oily surfaces. It has a nice light citrusy sent. I also used it after Christmas to get rid of all the tape left from decorations around the house. I tried it on some of the other suggested uses, and found it was a great candle wax remover and cleaned up scuffs marks too.Works on all kinds of stickers. The only thing I tried that it didn’t work on , was some dried Jell-O that found it’s way into my carpet during the holidays.I followed the directions(not to pour directly on carpet), but had no luck with that.

I paid even less at my local Office Depot and… with no shipping charge.

Say GOOdbye to GOO with GOO GONE!…..Laurie

Goo Gone Cleaner. This product is literally one of the best boo boo fixers I’ve ever spent my money on. Well worth its retail purchase price, I have come to always keeping a bottle around my home. I’m impressed with the products careful ability to remove leftover adhesive material from price tags, bumper stickers, and tape.

I also use this product for wiping down tools after working on the car. Spot treating laundry before throwing a load in the machine (yes it does get grease spots out of clothes).

I keep a bottle of Goo Gone in the hidden compartment of the school bus I drive too; Students write on the windows or walls of the bus with crayons or pens, … this stuff gets it off.

I will keep buying this product.

I LOVE this stuff! I’ve been struggling with removing the remnants of labels and price tag stickers for years until someone told me about GooGone. I was skeptical until I tried it and now I wish I heard about it years ago. It seems to even take labels off paper without damaging the paper (ok, it does leave behind a little stain, but sometimes that’s better than the label goo–test it first).

This appears to be the new version of Goo Gone, I only ordered one bottle to start (to make sure it was up the to old Goo Gone standards) and I was happy with its results. Will be ordering more bottles today (although I would prefer a larger bottle size.
